Woolworths Primary Freight provides a reliable and convenient transport service from your facilities to Woolworths Distribution Centres (DCs). The concept of Primary Freight started with transporting Ambient goods from our Trade Partners' premises into Woolworths DCs, and today we also freight Temperature Controlled, Meat and Produce. Woolworths Primary Freight contribute close to 50% of the volume in to our DCs.
As an integral part of the Woolworths Logistics Division, Woolworths Primary Freight ensures a smooth and reliable flow of goods into the Woolworths supply chain. Trade Partners pay for this service in the form of a weekly rebate.
Primary Freight is made up of four core divisions they are Business Development, Business Support, Customer Service and Operations.
